Diseño y estructuración del albergue municipal en Suaita Santander

Abstract

El presente informe detalla el diseño y la estructuración de un albergue municipal en el municipio de Suaita, Santander, con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad de vida de los animales domésticos en situación de calle. La problemática de los animales abandonados, principalmente perros y gatos, ha generado un impacto negativo en la salud pública y en el bienestar animal del municipio. Este documento describe las actividades realizadas para abordar esta situación, incluyendo la recolección de datos, la implementación de campañas de concientización sobre la tenencia responsable, y la creación del albergue. Además, se presenta un análisis DOFA sobre la situación actual del municipio, los resultados obtenidos antes y después de la intervención, y las recomendaciones para la sostenibilidad del albergue en el futuro

This report outlines the design and structuring of a municipal animal shelter in Suaita, Santander, with the objective of improving the quality of life of stray domestic animals. The problem of abandoned animals, mainly dogs and cats, has had a negative impact on public health and animal welfare in the municipality. This document describes the activities carried out to address this situation, including data collection, the implementation of awareness campaigns on responsible pet ownership, and the creation of the shelter. Additionally, a SWOT analysis of the current situation of the municipality is presented, along with the results obtained before and after the intervention, and recommendations for the shelter's future sustainability
