Characterization of the incidence of reproductive disorders in female cattle whose events related to abortions, stillbirths, births of weak calves, and mummifications, occurred on farms in the municipality of Tuta Boyacá.

Abstract

Algunos de los trastornos reproductivos más comunes en la hembra bovina estánrelacionados con eventos similares como la presentación de abortos, mortinatos, momificaciones y nacimiento de terneros débiles a parte de otra sintomatología; el sector pecuario es la principal entrada monetaria de las familias de tuta enfocándose en bovinos de doble propósito, es decir, de carne y/o leche, por lo tanto, el presente trabajo de grado tiene el fin de identificar la incidencia de los trastornos reproductivos en hembras bovinas cuyos eventos se relacionen con los ya mencionados anteriormente ocurridos en fincas del municipio de Tuta Boyacá.

The UMATA, known as the Municipal Agricultural Technical Assistance Unit, has the main objective of providing technical assistance to articulate programs that collaborate with the design, elaboration, evaluation and control of the municipal development plan that allow satisfying all the needs of the community and among the which are found to support the livestock sector since this is the main monetary income of the tuta families, focusing on dual-purpose animals, that is, meat and/or milk.
