Mejoramiento De La Calidad Sanitaria De La Leche Bovina En Pequeños Productores Del Municipio De Tenjo A Través De Capacitaciones Sistemáticas

Abstract

La ganadería de leche es la actividad económica más importante y la de mayor representatividad en el municipio de Tenjo, es por ello, que el área pecuaria se encuentra distribuida en pasturas mejoradas y pastos nativos, para los sistemas de producción bovinos de leche, doble propósito y carne, en un total de 793 fincas. Las veredas con mayor producción de leche son: La Punta, Chacal, Carrasquilla y Jacalito y las de menor producción: Churuguaco alto, Chitasugá y Chincé, debido a que en estas se presenta mayor urbanismo, lo que inhabilita el terreno para la producción de leche (POT Tenjo, 2014) Dairy farming is the most important and representative economic activity in the municipality of Tenjo. Therefore, the livestock area is distributed among improved pastures and native grasslands for dairy, dual-purpose, and beef cattle production systems, on a total of 793 farms. The districts with the highest milk production are La Punta, Chacal, Carrasquilla, and Jacalito, while those with the lowest production are Churuguaco Alto, Chitasugá, and Chincé, due to the increased urbanization in these areas, which renders the land unsuitable for milk production (POT Tenjo, 2014).
