| dc.description.abstract | En el campo de la dermatología veterinaria los mastocitomas cutáneos representan una de las neoplasias más frecuentes dentro de la especie canina (Garcia, 2020), representando un riesgo para la calidad de vida de los pacientes, y para el médico veterinario un desafío clínico debido a su presentación, localización, comportamiento, complicaciones y su variable respuesta al tratamiento; por lo cual es importante saber clasificar clínica, citológica e histológicamente cada mastocitoma con el fin de poder pronosticar y tratar adecuadamente a los pacientes. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | In the field of veterinary dermatology, cutaneous mast cell tumors represent one of the most frequent neoplasms within the canine species, representing a risk to the quality of life of patients and for the veterinarian a clinical challenge due to its presentation, location, behavior, complications and its variable response to treatment. Therefore, it is important to know how to classify each mast cell tumor clinically, cytologically, and histologically in order to be able to predict and adequately treat patients. | eng |
