Photo ID for the recognition of loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta) and green turtles (Chelonia mydas) in The beaches of the El Dorado seasided suites Hotel, Quintana Roo, Mexico

Abstract

Por medio de este proyecto se implementó la técnica de fotoidentificación en hembras anidantes de tortuga verde y caguama en las playas del hotel el Dorado Seaside Suites, para hacer esto posible se tomaron fotografías de 40 hembras por especie aleatoriamente durante los monitoreos nocturnos realizados diariamente, esta fotografías fueron tomadas de los 3 perfiles faciales. Through this project the technique of photoidentification was implemented in nesting females of green turtle and caguama on the beaches of the hotel the Dorado Seaside Suites, to make this possible 40 females were photographed per species randomly during the daily night monitoring, these photographs were taken of the 3 facial profiles.
