The Giant African Snail is considered one of the most dangerous invasive species found worldwide, due to its great potential for adaptation to environments, its ease of feeding, its high reproductive rate, and its transmission of pathogenic diseases for animals and humans.The following work was carried out with the objective of identifying the importance of the control, prevention and final disposal of the giant African snail A. fulica in the jurisdiction of the regional autonomous corporation (CAR), in order to determine the negative impact of the specimen on public health. , environment, and agriculture, and with this arrive at a possible alternative solution to prevent its spread.
