Interacción Humano-Animal en pequeños productores ovinos en sistemas extensivos de Marulanda-Caldas.

Abstract

El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar la interacción humano- animal (IHA), relacionada con los parámetros socio-demográficos, actitudes, comportamientos y gestión de manejo, interacciones operario – ovejas y percepción de bienestar animal de los ovino cultores de Marulanda Caldas Colombia. Se recolectaron datos de 13 productores adscritos a la cooperativa ovina de Marulanda entre el periodo de septiembre a octubre de 2019. Se evaluaron aproximadamente más 1.000 ovinos entre machos y hembras, carneros, hembras de vientre, corderos y ovejas adultas. Se realizo previamente una caracterización de las producciones, donde se visualizaba las interacciones táctiles, auditivas y visuales de los manejadores, junto a las respuestas conductuales en los ovinos

The objective of the study was to evaluate the human-animal interaction (IHA), related to the socio-demographic parameters, attitudes, behaviors and management of management, operative interactions - sheep and perception of animal welfare of the sheep-farmers of Marulanda Caldas Colombia. Data were collected from 13 producers attached to the Marulanda sheep cooperative between the period from September to October 2019. Approximately 4660 sheep between males and females, rams, belly females, lambs and adult sheep were evaluated. A characterization of the productions was previously carried out, where the tactile, auditory and visual interactions of the handlers were visualized, together with the behavioral responses in the sheep.
