Abstract

La piel es el órgano más grande y extenso del organismo (Salazar Cecilia, 2019). Eyerich y colaboradores en 2018 afirman que la piel nos conecta con el entorno a su vez que nos protege de agentes físicos, químicos y microbiológicos. Además, interviene en la termorregulación, humedad del organismo, nos transfiere sensaciones, entre otras funciones. La piel está formada por arreglos complejos de células del origen del ectodermo, la cresta neural y el endodermo, y tiene tres capas principales: la epidermis, la dermis y la subcutis (hipodermis), como se muestra en la figura 1 (Miller et al., 2012).

Eyerich and collaborators in 2018 affirm that the skin connects us with the environment and in turn protects us of physical, chemical and microbiological agents. In addition, it intervenes in thermoregulation, humidity of the body, transfers sensations to us, among other functions. The skin is formed by complex arrangements of cells of the origin of the ectoderm, neural crest, and endoderm, and It has three main layers: the epidermis, the dermis, and the subcutis (hypodermis), as shown in Figure 1 (Miller et al., 2012).
