La presente monografía tiene como objetivo fortalecer y apoyar el bienestar y tenencia responsable de las mascotas en el municipio de Tocancipá, Cundinamarca, desde un enfoque participativo, donde participaron 367 estudiantes de décimo y undécimo grado de la Institución Educativa Departamental Técnico Industrial y de la Institución Educativa Rural Departamental La Fuente. capacitados, mediante el uso de una guía didáctica que incluye temas como temas de salud, bienestar animal, control sanitario o zoonosis, manejo poblacional de animales mediante esterilización, castración, registro e identificación de animales, educación sanitaria en relación con el medio ambiente y legislación vigente. , antes de la capacitación se les aplicó una encuesta diagnóstica y una encuesta post evento, con el fin de conocer si la actividad había sido oportuna, lográndose evidencia que el 93% consideró importante la realización de este tipo de actividades enfocadas al cuidado y protección de los animales. . Además, en este documento se evidencian los resultados obtenidos diariamente durante los meses de junio a octubre en acompañamiento al programa de protección animal del municipio de Tocancipá.

This monograph has aim strengthening and supporting the welfare and responsible ownership of pets in the municipality of Tocancipá, Cundinamarca, from a participatory approach, where 367 tenth and eleventh grade students of the Departmental Educational Institution Industrial Technician and the Departmental Rural Educational Institution La Fuente were trained, through the use of a didactic guide which includes topics such as health issues, animal welfare, sanitary control or zoonosis, population management of animals through spay neuter, registration and identification of animals, health education in relation to the environment and current legislation, before the training they were given a diagnostic survey and a post-event survey, in order to know if the activity had een timely, achieving evidence that 93% considered important the carrying out this type of activities focused on the care and protection of animals. In addition, the results obtained on a daily basis during the months of June to October in accompaniment of the nimal protection program of the municipality of Tocancipá are evidenced in this document.
