Abstract

La cristaluria se forma a partir de la sobresaturación de algunos minerales en la orina, se pueden encontrar en animales sanos en bajas cantidades, en algunas ocasiones la presencia de cristales en la orina implica la formación de urolitos, esta enfermedad es multifactorial; uno de los factores más importantes es la dieta, ya que se debe considerar que la composición de la orina está muy relacionada con la alimentación. Y de hecho este es el método preventivo y tratamiento principal de la cristaluria.

Crystalluria are formed from the supersaturation of some minerals in the urine, they can be found in healthy animals in low quantities, sometimes the presence of crystals in the urine implies the formation of uroliths, this disease is multifactorial, one of the most important factors is diet, since it should be considered that the composition of urine is closely related to food. And in fact this is the main preventive method and treatment of crystalluria.
