Abstract

El presente informe contiene el proceso de elaboración de un protocolo y guías visuales para el manejo de pacientes infectocontagiosos dirigidos a Unidad Integral Veterinaria Komondor, que inició determinando qué patologías infecciosas se presentan con mayor frecuencia en la clínica mediante la revisión de historias clínicas y casuística presentada durante el trabajo de campo. Continuó con el análisis de los métodos aplicados en la clínica para la atención de este tipo de casos y finalmente concluyó con la elaboración de un protocolo para la recepción y manejo de pacientes infectocontagiosos y zona de cuarentena y triage construido junto con el personal, que fue socializado al finalizar la práctica empresarial. This report contains the process of developing a protocol and visual guides for the management of infectious-contagious patients directed to the Komondor Integral Veterinary Unit, which began by determining which infectious pathologies occur most frequently in the clinic through the review of medical histories and casuistry presented during the fieldwork. It continued with the analysis of the methods applied in the clinic for the care of this type of cases and finally concluded with the elaboration of a protocol for the reception and management of infectious-contagious patients and quarantine and triage area built together with the staff, which was socialized at the end of the business practice.
