Vehicle Washing: Use of Water with Sustainable Materials Within the Framework of the SDGs and Gri

Abstract

Se presenta un estudio de caso de corte cualitativo que se enfoca en la adquisición de productos ecológicos que reducen el uso de agua en el lavado de vehículos en línea con los ODS y GRI. El objetivo del proyecto consiste en analizar la sostenibilidad en el lavado de automóviles, enfatizando el uso de agua y materiales sostenibles, donde la estructura metodológica se fundamenta en la integración de indicadores GRI con ODS. Los resultados permitieron identificar la importancia de integrar los ODS y los Estándares de Información GRI para lograr una sostenibilidad más completa y transparente en el sector. Estos hallazgos subrayan la necesidad de un enfoque integral que combine la conciencia ambiental, la tecnología eficiente y la colaboración con proveedores para avanzar hacia un modelo de lavado de vehículos más sostenible y alineado con los estándares internacionales.

A qualitative case study is presented that focuses on the acquisition of ecological products that reduce the use of water in car washing in line with the SDGs and GRI. The objective of the project is to analyze sustainability in car washing, emphasizing the use of water and sustainable materials, where the methodological structure is based on the integration of GRI indicators with SDGs. The results allowed identifying the importance of integrating SDGs and GRI Reporting Standards to achieve a more complete and transparent sustainability in the sector. These findings underscore the need for a comprehensive approach that combines environmental awareness, efficient technology and collaboration with suppliers to move towards a more sustainable carwash model aligned with international standards.
