Abstract

En el municipio de Zipaquirá (Cundinamarca) se lleva a cabo el proyecto Lombricompostaje liderado por la Secretaría de Desarrollo Rural y Ambiente; a través de este, se entrega 1 Kg de pie de cría, y otros elementos necesarios para que voluntarios inicien sus propios lombricultivos en una cama de 1 m2 . Por su parte, la Alcaldía espera una retribución social inmersa en una mejor calidad de vida de los ciudadanos, gracias a los ingresos económicos que puedan obtener a partir de la venta de humus; así como también un mejoramiento de los suelos debido al uso de este producto.
