Care route protocol in shelters for canines and felines that enter the subdirectorate of animal protection and well-being of the municipality of Sabaneta, Antioquia.

Abstract

Este proyecto consiste en una consultoría sobre el establecimiento de un protocolo de ruta de atención en albergues para caninos y felinos que ingresan a la Secretaría del Medio Ambiente del municipio de Sabaneta, Antioquia, resultantes de los diferentes operativos de rescate realizados por la subdirección de protección y bienestar animal. Este protocolo se realizará bajo los conceptos de One Welfare “un solo bienestar” y teniendo en cuenta las directrices de la asociación de médicos veterinarios de refugios (ASV), sobre normas de atención en refugios de animales. This project consists of a consultancy on the establishment of a care route protocol in shelters for canines and felines that enter the Secretariat of the Environment of the municipality of Sabaneta, Antioquia, resulting from the different rescue operations carried out by the protection subdirectorate and animal welfare. This protocol will be carried out under the concepts of One Welfare “one welfare” and taking into account the guidelines of the association of shelter veterinarians (ASV), on standards of care in animal shelters.
