Design of improvement proposal for a tourism project in the municipality of Armero Guayabal - Tolima

Abstract

El turismo se ha convertido en uno de los sectores con más desarrollo a nivel nacional e internacional en las últimas décadas, y se caracteriza por su expansión y diversificación. La presente investigación visibiliza la forma en que se puede implementar el turismo en el municipio de Armero Guayabal, en su enfoque ecológico, o bien llamado ecoturismo, con el fin de mostrar las riquezas del municipio y del departamento, para generar una mayor participación en los diferentes sectores económicos. De modo que al formular el plan de marketing, el municipio alcance alto flujo de turistas para, mejorar la calidad de vida de sus habitantes y la economía del territorio.

Tourism has become one of the most developed sectors at a national and international level in recent decades, and is characterized by its expansion and diversification. This research makes visible the way in which tourism can be implemented in the municipality of Armero Guayabal, in its ecological approach, or called ecotourism, in order to show the riches of the municipality and the department, to generate greater participation in the different economic sectors. So that when formulating the marketing plan, the municipality reaches a high flow of tourists to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants and the economy of the territory.
